| B&D Boatworks vessels are built in Wanchese, NC, under the leadership of Buddy Davis, chairman of the board.
Currently under construction in Wanchese, this custom sportfisherman can be detailed to your specifications and completed in 4-5 months. Upgraded with new Caterpillar 1650HP diesels, this yacht has an increased fuel capacity of 1337 gallons, lighting and electrical upgrades, custom tackle/laundry room, washer and dryer and many more special features.
B&D begins construction with lightweight epoxy plywood cold molded hull. The exterior and even the interior surfaces are all fiberglass and faired using epoxy finished and Awlcraft 2000 topcoat. All the superstructure is all molded polyester fiberglass cored construction and the B&D 60 features a full mezzanine style cockpit.

| Ketch rig with Center Cockpit. She has the preferred tri-cabin layout. She has the Vee berth forward with a 24” hatch, then a head to port followed by a “U” shaped Lounge. A settee berth is to starboard followed by the Navigation Station. Next is the guest cabin with 2 bunks and a privacy door. Along the port side is the passageway to the aft master cabin. It has a large Vee shaped double bed, a private head and a stall shower. Soles are teak and holly. There are 12 aluminum opening ports that have been re-bedded and have new Lexan lens. Some wood paneling around the windows is new.
Many spare parts, pumps, alternator, solenoids, injectors, bilge pumps, domestic pumps, belts, filters, clamps, switches. Renovation work is almost complete. |
