ACCOMMODATIONS & LAYOUT
Heidi Dawn is a good example of a cruising yacht that was designed for traveling for a short while or a long while. She is laid out with two very nice suites and a central gathering area, often called the galley and salon.
The guest suite has a oval queen,walkaround,separate full shower to port, with the head and sink in a separate to starboard.The suite has a sliding,hide away, door to provide complete privacy for guests.
The spacious salon has a four person leatherette sofa with two built-in recliners and a large love seat hide-a-bed.Total seating is for 6 adults.
The Electrical Panels (AC/DC)are very easy to understand and are located at the base of the steps when entering from the sundeck. Next to the elec. panels is the entertainment center that includes a 25"JVC TV, a JVC/VCR and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD Stereo system.
One step down and forward of the salon,is the well equipped galley,which includes a built-in coffee maker,microwave,three burner electric cooktop 3/4 refridgerator with a large freezer,stainless steel sink and ample storage&drawers.
The mastersuite is to aft of the salon and down two steps. The decorating is very tasteful. The suite has a full queen walkaround with nice closets and drawers, a head with ,top of the line,vaccu flush head and a separate standup shower. The TV/VCR is builtin at the foot of the bed. Aft and up three step from the salon is the large sundeck which is covered by a hardtop. This area can be used fully enclosed including glass wing doors, or, can be left wide-open to the fresh air by removing the enclosure panels. Up three molded steps puts one on the well laid out flybridge that seats 7 adults.In addition to the icemaker,wet bar and sink, is the well designed helm station. Finally, the aft cockpit and swimplatform area make for ease of line handling, not to mention all the other things these areas can be used for.
